Stakeholders & Context:

Advising a partner of a sports federation, who suffered from a breach of contract during a major sporting event.

Our actions:

We quantified the damages for a sports equipment supplier, who was deprived of its participation in the 2022 FIFA World Cup (Qatar), despite a signed contract with a national football federation.
To do so, we first assessed the “World Cup effect” for an equipment supplier/sponsor by analyzing the financial performance trends of various suppliers since the 2010 World Cup.
