Conspiracy to commit fraud

Stakeholders & Context:

  • Assisting multiple victims in quantifying their damages during the landmark criminal trial of the Apollonia case, held from 31 March to 6 June 2025 at the Marseille Judicial Court, with a decision expected on 15 January 2026.
  • Considered the largest real estate fraud in France, involving more than €1.24 billion embezzled from approximately 760 civil parties (mainly self-employed professionals), the case dates back to the 2000s. It involves 15 defendants, including founders, notaries, and bankers.

Our actions:

  • We collected and processed thousands of documents to optimize our clients’ claims, assisting in quantifying damages in this sprawling case of forgery and complicity. This intervention forms part of the criminal proceedings, complemented by civil advances such as convictions totaling hundreds of millions of euros.
